Tenney Company, an income tax return preparation business was established more than 50 years ago by Harold Tenney, Sr. and has seen three generations of Tenney’s assisting residents of Buffalo and surrounding communities with their tax prep needs; Harold Tenney Sr., Harold Tenney Jr., and Geoff Tenney.
Geoff Tenney was appointed a district court judge in 2008 and asked best friend and accountant, Patrick Haubner, if he would carry on the business tradition established by his grandfather. Patrick Haubner readily agreed and operated the business under the Tenney Tax banner for 15 years, until 2023 when he changed the name to Tatanka Tax.
Patrick Haubner has a degree in accounting from St. John’s University, has passed the CPA exam, and boasts more than 30 years of experience in the accounting field. Besides the tax prep business, Patrick also serves as the CFO of Acrylic Design Associates, a manufacturer of store displays in Minneapolis. Patrick lives in Buffalo with his wife, Beth, and daughter Olivia.
